Day 1: Travel Gear.
Ugh. This outfit is big and sloppy. But it was comfortable during the 6 hour car ride. My detective hat (which was deemed the “Carmen San Francisco”) ensured that I didn’t have to do a darn thing to my hair. And I only wore those boots when I got out of the car. The rest of the time, fluffy leopard slippers adorned my feet.
Day 2 (Part One): Layers.
If you know anything about San Fran, it’s that the weather is unpredictable. One minute you are sweatin’ through your shirt and the next, you turn a corner into a windy neighborhood and you need about 10 pairs of mittens. It’s honestly not that practical to carry lots of layers when you’re walking around. That’s one of the many times I’m grateful for a stroller. Load that baby up!
Day 2 (Part Two): Fancy
This is what I wore to the fabulous wedding we attended. And let me tell you, nothing says “fancy” like some classy photos in a hotel room. At least it’s a Marriott and not a Motel 6, yeah?
Day 3: More Layers + Scarf
The last day in San Fran was a short one. We grabbed brunch with our friends and then had to get back on the road. This was my favorite outfit of the trip though. I’m not going to lie to you. I saved that coffee cup from earlier in the day just for the pictures because I thought it looked cute. My husband said “Wow, you really think of everything.” But his tone said “Wow, you are a weirdo.”
