It’s been awhile since I’ve opened my computer, let alone made it all the way over to my blog and written a daggum post! Taking stock is always an easy place to start over (again). So… hi!

Making: This cocoon cardigan in olive green.
Cooking: Pretty decent microwave dinners from Freshly.
Sipping: Bubly. It very weirdly tastes like Cherry Coke somehow.
Reading: Becoming Michelle Obama. And proud of myself that I’ve read 3 books in the last 2 months!
Looking: Yes. Just looking. Mostly at cardigans.
Listening: Here’s to the Losers record by Love Jones.
Wishing: for more common sense in the world.
Enjoying: Stevie’s love for Fergus. They are just so darn cute together.
Waiting: for my latest batch of dang Poshmark listings to sell.
Liking: spending less time on Instagram. Love the timer feature.
Loving: that my birthday month is full of adventure.
Buying: A new mattress! We’ve narrowed it down to Casper, Avocado, and Sleep on Latex. Can anyone vouch for one of these?
Watching: Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Tony Shalhoub and Alex Borstein are just too much goodness.
Hoping: Stevie will get this whole putting-on-shoes-by-himself thing.
Needing: an outfit for the Lady Gaga concert in Vegas!
Wearing: The perfect leather jacket (found secondhand, no less!)
Following: Rachel Cargle for issues of social justice. I recommend starting with her Unpacking White Feminism lecture.
Noticing: how much Stevie’s sense of humor is developing.
Sorting: and refolding everything in the house.
Getting: easily tired of a lot of things.
Saving: up for a trip to Merida, Mexico!
Bookmarking: to Pinterest.
Coveting: people who can eat treats every day. Craving ice cream right now.
Opening: my brain to new ideas and learning.
Giggling: as my husband makes up ridiculous lyrics to songs.
Feeling: so grateful that my friends Andrea + Paige came to see me!
Hearing: Fergus snoring. He sounds like a wild turkey.
Obsessing: over my daily popcorn — topped with smart butter, pink salt, and nutritional yeast. It’s better than it sounds, I promise.
Missing: all of y’all. You know who you are.
