Outfits 36 - 42 + a Weekend in Portland

Can you even BELIEEEEVE that I have written a blog post seven weeks in a row? Considering that like 15 people still read this thing, and you are one of those people, maybe you believe it. But I am kind of surprised that I’m still going.

I want to say that it’s totally brought back my love of all things writing and blogging, but here we are — a little more than 1/3 of the way through my #99daysofsummerstyle challenge — and I’m definitely not there yet. Maybe I won’t ever be back there. Or maybe it’s because I’m not connecting with the type of content I’m sharing. But I’m still glad I’m giving it a try. Just keeping my typing fingers warmed up.

I’m sure you’re not here to read about my blogging crisis (again) so on to the good stuff! I got to spend this past weekend with some of my favorite ladies. The three of us met almost exactly a year ago, when Andrea and I surprised Paige for her 40th birthday in Colorado. It was just the best in every way possible. Then about 7 months ago, these stinkers surprised me in LA for my birthday and we had a blast. So of course we had to make a visit to Andrea’s neck of the woods, and had an amazing weekend in Portland.

And not that it matters where we go — we love being together everywhere so far — but now that we’ve all been to each others’ towns, we’ve started talking about branching out to spend time together in other cities too! Maybe even get all of our families together. It’s all very exciting, I have to say.

It’s also kind of funny that for a bunch of people who take photos of themselves every day, we are pretty bad at it on vacation. But we are EXCELLENT at accidentally color-coordinating every single day.

loves,

  2. What a fun weekend! I love how you all coordinated without trying! How special to have made online friends that have become real friends!

I know I don’t comment much on blog posts….insta is so much easier…..but I still enjoy reading your blog! Also, love your handmade dress! Do you ever make them to sell? It’s perfect!

    1. Thanks so much! I do sell them once in awhile, but I don’t know how to make different sizes so that gets tricky! Haha!
