Would you look at this?? I can’t believe my hair is long enough for a teeny little short hair bun! It’s never my goal to grow out my hair. I love short cuts forever and ever, it’s just a circumstance of the times. And it’s funny when you’ve had uber-short hair for so many years — a little bit of length goes such a long way. It basically feels like a horse mane. I was supposed to get it cleaned up next week, but it’s been postponed a little longer. I am so tempted to cut bangs for a cool summer shag!! It’s not fun when they just end up looking sweaty all the time though. And there she goes talking about sweat again. Man, sweat is really involved in so many more of my life decisions than I ever realized it would be.

Normally I wear this jumpsuit with the included sash belt because it makes the outfit look more finished. But I actually much prefer the jumpsuit without a belt, because there’s no fuss. Since I had added the layer of a jacket today, the belt felt totally unnecessary. I haven’t gone as far to cut the belt loops off completely, but I’m definitely considering it. I’ve also mentioned before that this jumpsuit gaps between the 2nd and 3rd button, so for the time being I’ve stuck a little safety pin in there. I don’t use the buttons anyway, so it’s a non-invasive, easy fix.

Surprise! It’s another movie for you! I watched The Hate U Give several weeks ago when it was streaming for free. While it wasn’t my favorite, for those of you with teenagers and young adults in your family, I think it’s a good one to rent and watch together, as it reflects so much of what is going on in real life.
