Heatwave friendly outfit! Even though I have a whole capsule dedicated to warm weather, getting dressed in an intense heatwave is not really very my idea of fun. So last week was kinda slow for official “outfit” posts. Besides that, Stevie started school, I’m trying make time for exercise and laundry and dinner, along with the occasional toe-dip into our backyard fountain — there simply hasn’t been a whole lot of getting ready happening. IF I get dressed, the outfits look similar to this and are as minimal and breathable as possible. Do you have a favorite heatwave friendly outfit?

I’m not sure that I’ve ever paired navy blue with olive green like this! But I’ve said before: when I’m not sure about a color combination, I try to look at how it works together in nature. And if blue and green aren’t the epitome of a nature color scheme, I don’t know what is! I think that’s also why I’m so drawn to brown accessories — you just can’t go wrong with the colors of the earth.
