OK just one more craft for the week. I am DIY-ed out. It had to be easy and it had to be inexpensive. With my logic, ornaments are small – therefore faster to finish – so I figured I’d go in that direction. This one took longer than the ribbon ornament because you have to cut out so many squares, but in the tutorial, there is a printable size guide template that made it a piece of cake.
Mmm, cake…
I honestly love the ornaments made of felt on this site so much better, but I didn’t have felt. And I did have this foam stuff, for God knows what, so I figured I’d use it up. It doesn’t quite cut the mustard for my rustic, crafty, woodland-themed Christmas but how much of this stuff am I really going to keep anyway? In all seriousness, what do you crafty people do with all the junk you make?! I really don’t see it holding up in storage through the years. I guess trying to be crafty while trying to get to minimalist state is not really productive. Well, another lesson learned. I guess that’s the end of my crafting days! Woohoo!
Back to the ornament: I don’t even have any notes, because it was so straight forward and easy-peasy pumpkin pie.
Mmm, pie.
Wait, what!?! No more crafting!?!?!?! ::returns pink Swarovski crystal glue gun::
And then the people would have to pull them out every Christmas because you are coming over to admire their Christmas decorations!! Lol!
Haha!! I would always put them on the spot! I think I’ll send these to you mom, and you can put them by my bird plate. “Jaana’ talent through the years” LOL
Look at you go! You could also give them to people you don’t like so they can keep them in storage. Or people that you do like and they can love you forever!
Haha! So smart!
