The holidays can be a difficult time of year to find balance. I know personally, it’s my busiest time. The calendar is full end to end. I feel overwhelmed and tired. I haven’t even touched on the day to day tasks. And besides managing everyday life, I want to be in the giving mood and do things for others! Well, I may not have a Christmas tree or a single decoration put up yet, but I did feel a good bit of that Christmas spirit over the weekend.
It was cold – like a good December day should be – and our annual Blessing Bag distribution was a success. Three years running, and I think we are getting the hang of it. It took significantly less time this year and we had just as much fun and laughs as in years past. When you leave the organizing up to Norma, things just happen! Thanks for the good memories and warm fuzzy feelings, friends. I’m here to testify that this is a great way to get on board with the holidays! Try it sometime!
