My cousin and his wife came to visit from Finland and they brought their cuuuute little girl.  She’s a year and 9 months and pretty much Stevie’s BFF now.  They spent the week together and got along really well – minus the few times they didn’t want to share toys.   But even that, in a way, was a relief for me to see.  Stevie doesn’t usually notice that he has toys.  So when he’d try to grab them away from her, I would say “no, no” with a big smile on my face.  Not sharing is a sign of typical 2 year old behavior, right?

Anyway, we did it all.  The Zoo.  Santa Barbara.  Disneyland.  San Diego.  Griffith Park.  And lots of trips to the playground in between.  Food.  Duh.  What else?  It was crazy busy and while we had a good time, it was a lot of work toting around two toddlers.  All of us were so worn out by the week’s end.  I’m sure they were glad to go to Utah and have some time to relax.  Stevie, on the other hand, was not so pleased that they left.  When he heard his friend went “bye bye” he cried and cried.  It was so sweet and sad!  I love it that they’ve met, even though they won’t remember a thing.  Baby loves.
