When you have some Marriott points to spare, what do you do?  Well you take a girls’ trip to Vegas, duh.

I live kinda far from my sissy and my Utah bestie, and I don’t get to see them nearly as much as I want.  So I bribed them into meeting me in Vegas with promises of a free hotel room and girly adventures.  I added a layer of guilt saying that it was for my birthday (I’m turning into the best Armenian mother ever) and so really, how could they say no?

The hotel was great.  We stayed about 8 miles away from the city center at the beautiful JW Marriott LV Resort & Spa.  We were so impressed with the size of the room and the beautiful, ginormous bathroom and the comfy, cozy beds.  I was also impressed with the telephone by the toilet and may or may not have used it to call my husband.  They had shuttle service to and from the strip and the staff was really nice.  It was a good choice.

Highlights included food (always at the top of my list), seeing The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (which made me so damn happy I could cry), winning $60 on the Wheel-O slots (which I ended up losing at the airport), and visiting the Mob Museum (serious win, we all loved it).  Since I flew in Saturday and flew out Sunday, it was a super quick trip… in a good way.  I’m a 2-days-in-Vegas-MAX kind of girl.

And I almost forgot!!  We went to Forever 21 and tried on the ugliest things we could find.  These are actual clothes sold there that people pay money for.  Hilarious.  And I assure you, we were not drunk. #catwomanwannabe
