Traveling with so many people, there were only a handful of times where we all wanted to do the same thing and could get our schedules to match. One of those times was in Central Park.
I get a little smitten with the view from Central Park. Just all that beautiful cheerful green surrounded by all those serious gray buildings. The park gives off the opposite feelings of the city. Calm and quiet vs. energy and chaos. There is no in between. I love them both for their own unique personalities.
When I looked at a map, I realized when it was all said and done, we only saw about 1/8th of Central Park. It seemed to go on forever! But we got some good highlights. We visited the pond, saw the carnival, crossed the bridge, ate some hot dogs, climbed the rocks. And we danced. Really, we did! Well, some of us did.
A perfect break in the day with the people we love!
