  1. The thing I look most forward to on the weekends is the food. I eat with no guilt. Because, like I always say, calories don’t count on weekends. Or vacations. Or special occasions. Or on bad days… Hmm…
  2. And then I wonder why the white pants I pulled out of storage from last year don’t fit anymore? Oops.
  3. It’s amazing what you can learn about your favorite movies and TV shows when you leave the captions on.  You mean I’ve been quoting that line wrong for 15 years??
  4. I’ve watched Newsies three times this week.  I’m trying to convert my son into an 1890’s tough guy with a New York accent.  #lifegoals
  5. One of my greatest accomplishments this week was acting excited every single time Stevie showed me a YouTube video of the same toy car.  Motherhood brings out the actress in me for sure.

  1. I just love your taste! I am totally crushing on those overalls. And now I have to look into unstructured khaki shorts… Do you ever thrift?

    1. oh I used to love thrifting! but these days, I have no patience for it. I do mostly online shopping late late at night – danger zone! – or quick drop-ins at the store when I need something specific (and my son is not with me!) 😉
