Happy New Year’s Eve!  I’m so glad to be putting 2013 behind us.  I debated writing EFF YOU 2013!! but, as difficult as it has been at times, I have to give it a little credit for some incredibly awesome memories too. Some of my favorites:

So much to be grateful for.  And now, taking stock for the evening.

Making: myself count calories again.
Cooking: nada.  we had leftovers.
Drinking: my peach bellini champagne.  so yummy and sooo new year’s eve worthy.
Reading: my lengthy to-do list.
Wanting: a vacation.  who guessed it?
Looking: for more peace of mind.
Playing: head’s up on the iPad is fun.
Deciding: if i should go even blonder!
Wishing: on birthday candles soon.
Enjoying: the fact that my husband has a few weeks off.
Waiting: to put Stevie to bed.
Liking: dark chocolate covered almonds.
Wondering: if i should just ring in the new year with the east coast.
Loving: buffalo plaid. i have my eye on an awesome jacket.
Pondering: the scary stuff in life.
Considering: which photo project to commit to for 2014.
Watching: real housewives of anywhere.
Hoping: the laundry will fold itself.
Marveling: at how quickly the year went, of course.
Needing: more gosh-dang sleep.
Smelling: my two mini christmas trees on the counter.
Wearing: a super hipster-y triangle ring.
Following: some new bloggers from Australia who were in the #fmsgiftexchange.
Noticing: the evening lights and shadows.
Knowing: i can be a smart shopper when this diet ends. i have to.
Thinking: there’s too much chocolate in this house to resist.
Admiring: my husband from afar. he’s a handsome one, you guys.
Buying: grown up things like a FitBit band and a Lumosity.com membership.
Getting: older is so silly.
Bookmarking: sneakers. sneakers. and more sneakers.
Opening: cars. stevie got a 50-pack of hot wheels for christmas that we’re still opening!
Giggling: never enough.
Feeling: hopeful. so very hopeful.
