This is not Stevie’s first time eating spaghetti.  Not being much of a cook {ahem, what?!} it gets made often in our house.  And that’s an understatement.  But this is the first time he’s wanted to try eating it by himself.  I got such a kick out of watching.  There was not much eating going on, as he stuck his fingers in the noodles, pounded them with his fist, stabbed them with his fork.  This whole making messes thing is new for him.  With all the sensory stuff, getting spaghetti noodles (or sand or grass or anything unusual) on his hands is very low on the list of things he wants to do.  And while I probably enjoyed it slightly more than he did, he didn’t really shy away… So more exploring and adventuring to come!  I just know it.
